Guided by the senses, guided by history and accompanied by a local, we will stroll in the city to look for the imprints of its glorious and tragic past and to experience its dynamic present. Our walk starts from the main square. Following its main artery we will pass through more or less well-known points of historical and cultural interest. We will “deviate from our course” to drill in the alleys and arcades of the old city to discover its hidden corners and get acquainted with its architectural and urban character. We will walk in the old and new market and we will find old and new places of entertainment. We will wander around the castle and end up on the pier to enjoy the much-sung lake. During our walk, various sweet and savory surprises will be waiting for us… The sure thing is that we will not get bored, since Ioannina never stops surprising us!

Pack up the van in the morning and check out the stars on the most famous sidewalk in Hollywood on an orientation tour. Drive through Beverly Hills and be dazzled by one of the world's most exclusive three-block district: Rodeo Drive. In the late morning, take in the iconic trees of Joshua Tree National Park.
Travel to one of the country's most rugged landscapes — the legendary Death Valley, California. Soak in the dramatic landscape. In the afternoon, continue on to Bakersfield for the night.

Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out G Adventures self-assessment form.
